Parametric study of behavior of the structure of the wine cellar
Hajn, Jakub ; Janků, Hynek (referee) ; Horák, Vladislav (advisor)
In traditional wine village Bořetice recently occurred to serious disturbances on structures of wine cellars. These failures were caused by, among other things, changes in the properties of the rock environment. This work focuses on the implementation of parametric studies in terms of changing the properties of rock (soil) from the viewpoint of structural arrangement of the wine cellar.
Design of the secondary city utility tunnel with an emphasis on protection against ingress of groundwater
Vrána, Tomáš ; Černý, Vít (referee) ; Horák, Vladislav (advisor)
In the first part, the master’s thesis deals with the history of utility tunnels, methods of construction processes and materials from which they are built. It also mentions methods and materials which protect against the effects of groundwater. The thesis is mainly dedicated to the design and structural design of the secondary utility tunnel lining with an emphasis on protection against ingress of groundwater. The mathematical model was created in Plaxis 2DAE software.
The methods of implementation structures of the shallow underground structures
Vrána, Tomáš ; Černý, Vít (referee) ; Horák, Vladislav (advisor)
In the first theoretical part, the bachelor thesis deals with the basic overview of the implementation methods of the shallow underground structures. It also mentions the most important elements used in the actual implementation. In the second practical part, the bachelor thesis deals with the case study.
Influence of the new foundation on the construction of the wine cellar
Dostál, Tomáš ; Závacký, Martin (referee) ; Horák, Vladislav (advisor)
In the traditional wine village Dolni Bojanovice was a two-party dispute. The dispute arose because of the fear of a negative impact on the existing structure of the wine cellar because of the load of a newly built hall. The bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation of the likely influence of the base of the new structure on the historical wine cellar.
Campus + New university Library in Nitra
Šmídová, Anežka ; Šabík, Viktor (referee) ; Nový, Vítězslav (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design of a university library in the city of Nitra in Slovakia. The main point in creating the library is how to properly design this library given the circumstances in the area, such as the dominant feature of the national monument of the Slovak University of Agriculture designed by architect Vladimír Dědeček. The second dominant feature of the place is the views of Zobor. The diploma thesis follows up on the undergraduate project, in which the entire new campus was designed. This proposal defined the location of the new university library. The form is based on the spatial composition [cardo, decumanus] of Vladimír Dědeček, which is observed by all neighboring buildings. The mass of the library tries not to draw attention to itself, so a large part of it is located underground. Another important point in the design is road transport, which divides universities. This phenomenon is taken into account in the design and thus creates another passage under this path, which connects the universities. The library occupies a large part of the area and therefore tries to return the occupied part with the help of green walkable roofs, which creates additional space for views and vistas. In addition, the proposal also works with road transport, which runs over the roof of the library. Overall, the proposal seeks to show what university libraries might look like, where it's not just about books and study places, but also about meetings, debates and listening.
The face safety pillar assessment for underground construction
Zapletal, Adam ; Černý,, Vít (referee) ; Horák, Vladislav (advisor)
The master thesis parametrically compares different methods to determine the required lengths of the safety pillar when building secondary urban collector in Brno. The analytical calculation by Šedivý is compared with mathematical modeling executed in the program Plaxis 2D 2015.02. version and also in the program Plaxis 3D Introductory 2013 version.
Design of excavation and primary tunnel lining on high-speed railway construction
Dostál, Tomáš ; ING, Tomáš Zítko, CEng MICE, EUR (referee) ; Horák, Vladislav (advisor)
As part of modernization of the Brno-Přerov railway line, is in the section between village Blažovice and town Vyškov desined tunnel composed of two monorail tubes about 640 meters length. Tubes are situated in neogenic clay with an overburden height of 11 meters. This master thesis deals with design suitable tunnel exavation, primary lining with static calculation and geotechnical monitoring.
Dolní Kounice Gym
Bala, Filip ; Erben, Adam (referee) ; Pavlovský, Tomáš (advisor) ; Petříček, Tomáš (advisor)
The assignment of the thesis was to create a new gym in Dolní Kounice not only for elementary and nursery schools, but also for the general public. Our task was to meet all the requirements of the investor, but also to cooperate with the demanding composition of the entire campus and so the site. In this locality, where several operations and functions are intersected, was created as the atelier work a new gym project, which responds to all these requirements and does not separate individual functions and society by design, but connects and creates new spaces for them. With its operational-technical solution, the building fulfills all the requirements for operation and use of the gym.

The ownership right to land and its restriction by underground construction of another owner
Hradilová, Miluše ; Franková, Martina (advisor) ; Damohorský, Milan (referee)
Ownership of Land and Its Limitations by Underground Construction of Another Owner Abstract The thesis deals with the ownership of the land and its potential limitations, which have caused in the existence and operation of another entity's underground structure beneath its surface. The focus of the thesis is on defining the property as a three-dimensional body, focusing attention on the space beneath the Earth's surface, which is the optimum place to house structures providing activities that, due to technical, economic or environmental reasons, are not suitable to be placed and operated on the surface. In order to determine the scope of ownership of the subsurface land, the land is defined as a matter in legal terms and an object of land ownership and the possibility of determining the horizontal boundary of the land on a vertical axis in the direction below the Earth's surface is examined. The thesis encapsulates the current theoretical concepts of property law, constitutional guarantees, content, and internal limits. It also points out the limitations of the landowner by the Institute of Purpose Land Categorization, which aims to achieve optimal land use as a key component of the environment. Subterranean construction is further defined in the thesis and the criteria crucial for determining an...
